Important information for those taking part 2026:
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO ROAD WORKS, VEHICLES CANNOT ENTER FROM MILE CROSS, Symondsbury turning from A35

Line up is from 5.45 along Walburton Road, FOUNDRY LEA

  • One person per entry is to report arrival to the Parade Marshal, located on Walburton Road, Foundry Lea. (DT6 5JR)
  • That person will be allocated a number (for Judging) which is to be clearly displayed throughout the parade, and notified where their ‘starting position’ will be located.
  •  There will be toilet facilities at this location. Please be considerate to Residents.
  • The Parade will start at 7.00 pm, moving from Foundry Lea, up West Street to the Town Hall, where it turns right into South Street, and continues to the end at The Bridport Football Club car park (the Beehive) DT6 5 LA, at approximately 9.00 pm
  • There will also be toilet facilities at the end location – The Bridport Football Club car park (the Beehive) DT6 5 LA
  • Any entry numbers, vests and collection buckets should be handed in to the Carnival van at the Brewery junction, just before the end of the parade.
  • The Judges will announce the winning entries (and certificates will be presented) from the Stage (near the Town Hall) just after 9.00 pm
